Want a major part in Norway’s next web-hit?

The Film collective PurpleDragons is recording the drama comedy «Bring Down The House». We need a new actor for one of the lead parts:
Bartender: Woman or man - 20-40 years of age

We actively encourage persons with a non-Norwegian background to apply for all parts, as this is a series about discrimination and being an outsider. The series is set in a club for male dancers in 1990 - modeled after the Chippendales. No female dancers.
Actors and crew have contracts which include ownership to the series according to hours spent on set and rehearsals, with equal hourly salary for all. There is no payment now. This is a low-budget, high quality technical production with professionals in most positions, involving more than 60 people. Probably the largest production of a webseries in Norway. We film at different locations in the Oslo area.
All dialogue in this series is improvised, but the story (dramaturgy) for two seasons (20 episodes) is written.
Since most crew and cast have other jobs, this is a “slow” production - we only film every other Sunday (10-20) and a few Monday afternoons. We have rehearsals every other Wednesday afternoon before the shoot on Sunday.
Audition is set to January 6th (1500 - 2000) or Thursday 9th (1700 - 2100) at Sentralen, Øvre Slottsgate 3 - floor 5. Applications without the selftape will not be considered.
